Global warming seems to be a real and immediate threat. Though solutions may seem impossible, we must try to come up with ideas and methods to, at the very least, slow the seemingly inevitable pattern. People are beginning to pay attention to the issue, but until legislation is created to force companies and individuals to change, the society will not. It is up to world leaders to force the issue and not wait until it is too late.
In my opinion, global warming has been around forever. But, with today’s modern cars putting out exaust, factory’s and exposing of toxic wastes, more of global warming is being caused by people. There are a lot of effects that global warming has to the earth, such as climate change. During the past few years, many people have seen global warming happening, whether it be various weather patterns or ice caps the size of Texas melting. Global warming is a very serious issue that people really need to get familiar with if they already aren’t. There are many ways to help the environment, people just need to actually start caring about it.
Global Warming is such a major issue that we will still be struggling with in the years to come. I believe almost all the chemicals we put into the air has an effect on global warming. It is probably destined to happen unless we can target the problem, and eliminate it, or the way we run things. We just need to do something about it now, so our future generations don’t have to worry about bigger problems with global warming.
Although more and more people are starting to realize the impact of global warming, the amount of people and action that it takes to fix the problem is far from where it should be. However many European countries have taken plausable action such as investing in and producing more car fuel efficient vehicles, investing in alternative energy sources (solar and wind), and europeans seem to be sacraficing and taking action to adress the issue. It still astonishes me the arrogance and iggnorance of the American people. Still Americans refuse to educate themselves on Global Warming and deman that the United States government take the neccessary action to create solutions for this issue. As a superpower and role model for the world we should be doing more. Hopefully with the US presidential election approaching canidates will focus more on the issue of Global Warming and be forced to adress the problem during their presidence (GO HILLARY CLINTON & OBAMA).

It is actually a relatively low percentage of carbon emmissions that are the result of cars. A large part of the problem is caused by the increasing number of respiring crops that must be grown every year to feed our ever growing populations. HOWEVER, people cannot bury their heads in the sand over global warming. The whole world, especially those in developed countries need to reduce their carbon footprints significantly if we are going to try to slow the damaging process.
Yes I do believe oils and carbon dioxide is a factor of global warming. An example of the effects is melting ice caps. I think if we keep the right precautions, like florescent lights, hybrid cars, recycle and not littering. It can help the atmosphere tremendously.

We know that in billions of years the world will end from goin supernova (sun exploding), so ibelieve that global warming is very early stage in the process. Global Warming is a problem thats we need to deal with right away! People think there are two causes and man-made causes. I think that it is a mix of both. I think that we can recycle more in our daily lives to aid this issue. At St.Paul School the third graders have started recyling program in which they pick up recycled papers every Friday. I think if every home or school throughout the world did this program we could help reduce Global Warming alot. We cannot count on others to stop Global Warming we need to take it step by step!!!

I belieave that global warming is a natural occurence, but pollution is speeding it up. This means that it is inevitable and will be a major threat in about 10-20 years, but it isn’t now. That does not, however, mean that it is okay to pollute, because if we fully embrace environmental energy sources we can postpone it for up to 20 more years. Also, it shouldn’t be called “global warming”, as its more like “global climate change”, because in places like Africa and South America it’s actually getting colder.
