Universal Primary Education is a very necessary goal. Education is very effective in improving people’s quality of life. Through education many of the other millennium goals can be achieved. Studies have shown that through education poverty and disease levels decrease, as does the population. By achieving Universal Primary Education, political and economic stability can also be attained. With all of the positive effects of education I feel that this millennium goal is an absolutely imperative step towards the ultimate objective of bettering the world as a whole.
As to how the world can achieve universal primary education one method that has proven effective is the provision of scholarships to children whose families would have trouble financing their child’s education. The costs of tuition, school supplies and uniforms are often too much for struggling families to afford, and scholarships could help the children of these families go to school.

I believe that these goals are necessary to achieve Universal Primary Education. Education is one of most important things that can bring children and families out of this poverty that had started generations ago. Although supplies for the children to read and write are limited. The scholarships will allow the children to get the chance to read his or her own book with colors and pictures. These supplies bring them one step closer to education and one step out of poverty. Educating one child in a family can make a world of difference to them.
