Having fun and interesting lessons because then I will try to learn even more.

That they are fun and not boring but they also have control over the class and that they are really nice and kind and fair in their punishments.

I would like to learn sport and maybe war (e.g. World War 2) because I love sport and it keeps you fit. The reason I would like to learn about war is because it is fun and interesting. Although I prefer sport.

When we play games to help us learn because I get a lot out of that.

Helps us when they are kind and help us by giving us advice. What also makes a good teacher is when they have a good personality.

Well I don’t think there is nothing else I would like to learn but there are subject I would like to learn more of. I would like to learn more tech, drama, English and art because they are subjects I think will help me in the future.

I learn better when the teacher knows what he’s saying a don’t mumble a lot.

A good teacher will not be moody all the time and stop saying “look I’ve had a really bad day and I want you to be extra good” and stop taking their anger out on us even when we done nothing wrong, and less strict.

I would like to learn proper drama and dancing as a curriculum.

More interesting lessons, something you haven’t learned already unless re-capping, I also prefer having teacher assistants in the class not that it just helps the teacher they can also get around quicker and maybe able to helper you quicker which then = saving time to get more work done and maybe you might not then get homework for finishing your work

If they don’t give out homework every lesson, also if they have a little bit of a joke but still do work! Also a pretty fair teacher and try and help the pupils as much as you can so say like if you have homework on the last ten minutes of the lesson spend that time with the pupils to go other the work and make sure most of the class get it if not at least 75% doe’s……also following on from the homework may not need the homework done for the next lesson in a day or two maybe save it till the next lesson….perhaps have atleast two lessons to get it finished, checked, copied up if not neat. As well most teachers just give you homework and say here you go take this an do it for homework
And I would like to learn a lot of subjects apart from history! And find out why I like it. And why I am good at it,also why I enjoy it.it would also be very helpful fotr when you are older and you can tell people in your from, family, etc…

No affence to history or nothing but it can b very interesting.

A teacher who explains things really well, and pupils who don’t mess around in lessons make life easier.

A teacher who has a good personality can make pupils work harder and someone who can be strict would make a good teacher.

  •   Jen // Feb 2nd 2007 at 5:48 am

    U.K.
It helps if the teacher would make the lesson more exciting, by playing more games, and to also let us do more independent work.Ithink that a teacher should be…. Kind , helpful and fun, but I also think that we should do educational games.
I would like to know how to build a petrol R.C. car in tech.

  •   the Big O // Feb 2nd 2007 at 5:49 am

    2. I would like more exciting objectives and more practical lessons. I prefer having a teaching assistant in the lesson who can either help the people who are struggling so that the class isn’t being held back or to help the children who are finding the lesson too easy so that they don’t get bored. I also enjoy doing projects I feel that it gives practical and academic sides to what could be just another piece of normal homework.

    3. Someone who is exciting optimistic and fair who can understand why some children wouldn’t be interested in the particular subject and who can try and get into the child’s position. To try and make the lessons as fun as possible but not to get out of order because I feel that the happier you are in a lesson the more work and more good work you are likely to do. I like teachers who don’t give out homework every lesson and also when they give out projects. I always enjoy it when teachers pretty much let you take over instead of just giving you a textbook to work from.
    4. First of all I would learn every subject and find out what I am best at and what I like the most, then I would feel that the stuff I am not that good at and that I don’t enjoy is not very important to me at the moment or in later life. I also think it would be very good and important for children to have one lesson once a week that would teach you things you need to know in general life like what to do if someone is choking like how to deal with it.

  •   matty da batty // Feb 2nd 2007 at 5:58 am

  •   shelbz // Feb 2nd 2007 at 6:04 am

    I live in England.
The thing that helps me to learn better is when you can join in with the activity or the thing that you are learning.
The thing that makes a teacher really good is that when they improvise what they are saying for example ‘the Normans won to the Vikings’ which is really dull but if they say’ the Vikings tried really hard to beet the Normans’ that would make a teacher really good.
I would like to learn how to do calligraphy because I have heard that it is really good and how to go sailing.

  •   frosty // Feb 2nd 2007 at 6:04 am

    U.K.
To learn better, I feel that I need a god teacher that helps a lot.
For me to feel that a teacher is good they need to be quite strict but not too strict and keep people quiet so I can concentrate and some one that has a sense of humour, also that if one person is naughty the don’t blame us all.
I would like to learn to do things in a more fun & practical way.

1.What country do you live in?
The country I live in is in the United States.

2.How old were you on 01.01.07?
I was twelve at the time of January 1, 2007.

3.What helps you to learn better?
There are different ways for me to learn because it depends on what it is. For example, if I had to learn responsibility I would have to have privilege to do a task in order to experience it. If I was learning subject in school, the best way for me to learn them is if I pay attention, allowed to learn my special ways, and cooperating with the teacher.

4.What makes someone a really good teacher?
Something that would make really good teacher is giving second chances if they think students would do better afterwards. Also, when a student is really stressed at home and at school, the teacher would try to understand and comfort them, making the student feel someone is there for them.

5.If you could choose, what would you like to learn?
If I could choose to learn something, I would like to learn many languages and improve on speaking Vietnamese. I would also like to more about marine biology because underwater life interests me.

A good teacher is very fair, and treats all of the students equally. The teacher will also give the class the benefit of the doubt, and trust them. Most importantly, the teacher makes learning fun. A good teacher must find a way to arouse the students’ interest in the subject, and to find ways to get the students enthusiastic to learn. Fun/creative projects would allow students to enjoy themselves and learn at the same time. Few homework assignments also wouldn’t hurt.
5.) If you could choose, what would you like to learn?
Personally, I would really enjoy taking a creative writing course, coupled with business management, as well as other things that would help me survive after I have graduated college. On a more whimsical note, I would love to learn how to speak and read Japanese.
