Hi I’m Katie and I come from Notre Dame Catholic College in Liverpool, England! My favourite subjects in school are Dance, Drama, ICT and Geography (I can’t choose one)! I love dancing and drama because I want to be an actress when I’m older. The thing I like most about my school is all the fun things we do like Fund raising for Children In Need (which is a charity for homeless and hungry children. I am also in the school choir which is fun. I think the biggest challenge in our world today is global warming. Hi! My name is Amy Harrison and I am 11 years old. My hobbies are writing, reading, sports and singing (although I’m not that good!). I’m from England (Liverpool) and I live with my mum, dad, two little brothers and little sister. Do you have any pets? I have two budgies’ – Henry and Snowy – and a dog named Jess. My birthday is on the 5th August 1995 and I am one of the youngest of the class. When’s your birthday?
I also like karate and went to classes last year. I don’t go anymore and I’m only on a yellow belt, but I might go again to get my orange belt a few years from now.
By the way, what your favourite animal? Mine’s a cat/kitten because I just think they’re so cute and look like little balls of fluff! My favourite cat has to be a tabby or a Russian blue!

I used to go to a school named St. Francis de Sales and it was really good. I had a lot of friends there and I had to leave them for senior school – I was crying my eyeballs out!!!!! Then again, I’m still with my friend, Maria Gripton and we’re in the same sets so we see each other often in school.
What did you get on your SAT’s? I got 5-5-5 but I’m still as stupid as anyone! I was SO nervous when it came to the SAT’s and I was really surprised when the results came in! I was VERY bad at maths and I probably still am because I forgot everything over the holidays!

One of the triditions in my family is on Christmas Eve we always go to my anunts house.

One of the traditions at my school is the Christmas Bazaar. We go for about a half hour in our school day and there is a raffle, fun games, food, and gifts to buy. Then at the end of the day, the whole school goes into the gym (where it is held) and they pull the raffle tickets.
I live in a town close to Hingham called Hull. It is a beautiful place and it is surrounded by beautiful water and beaches. In the summer time when it is warm I have my own sailboat named Sweeter Than Candy I sail out front of my house (cause we live like next to the water) and sometimes I race it.

My name is Charlotte and I go to St. Pauls in Hingham. One tradition in my school is the Christmas Bazar. We hold it every year. At the Christmas Bazar there are raffles and also there are tables and tables of stuff so you can do your christmas shopping without spendding alot.
At St. Pauls we do alot of charities for the poor. We raise money, collect food,and collect items that people need that they cannot afford themselves.
I think the biggest problem in the world is global warming because it is hurting God’s world and is hurting gods creatures. Global warming makes the glaciers melt and causes more water to flood the north. I think we can help stop the problem by using our resources more carefully.

Theres only a few weeks til Christmas and I thought I’d tell you a little about what happens at my house and our traditions!
A few days before Christmas me and my brothers and sisters sleep under the Christmas tree. On Christmas Eve my whole family and I eat (my dad is a super cook sooo I really love Christmas Eve!) and sit by the fire. Before we all go to bed, as a family we listen to the tape of the Polar Express and read along with it (I don’t know if you have ever read it or even heard of it but it is a great book.. one of my favorites actually). Me and my seven brothers and sisters all sleep in the same room upstairs.. which makes it even more fun! And when we wake up in the morning we have this thing that the first one to wake up, wakes up everyone. And once everyone is awake my mom and dad take a picture of us on the stairs before we go down. Then we all run down the stairs and open our presents!

On Christmas Eve my family and I go to my grandma and grandpa’s house. It’s really fun because all the cousins get to see each other and catch up. I think the biggest problem our world faces today is poverty. Many people are homeless and die of starvation. I know our world tries to prevent poverty but we all do a little more.

Then after we open all the prestnts we go to mass then we drive up to New Hampshire to go skiing from Christmass to New Years. That is the end of our family Christmas.

My name is Chloe and I’m going to tell you what my family does for Christmas. Each year everyone on my mommy’s side of the family comes to our house for a BIG party on Christmas Eve. My daddy’s side can’t come because they live in Ireland. But, this year we’re going to have the party on the 17th and have Christmas Eve to ourselves. We also go up to Maine each year before and after Christmas. And each Christmas morning my sisters and brothers and I wake our parents up at 7:00; much too early for them. And they get the video tape ready and we all have to wait on the stairs before we can go down. My parents always say that Santa never came and that’s our que to go and open our presents from him. After we open our presents I always go check to see what my animals got and give them whatever I got them. Then we go sleding! We have a HUGE hill in my backyard that we sled on. It is so much fun! Now, let me tell you about Christmas at my house. On Christmas Eve, my family goes to four o’clock mass and then my dad’s side of the family comes over for Chinese food. Then, on Christmas morning, my sister and I have to wait for my parents to tell us to come downstairs. Later that day, my grandparents come over and give us their gifts. This is kind of off subject but my grandparents aren’t the type of grandparents that only come over on special occasions. In fact, I have been sleeping over their house every Saturday since I was 3! Even birthdays! Let me get back on track. I have never had a real Christmas tree, the ones you cut down. I have always had an artifical one, but this year I am getting a real tree for the first time. Something I love about the Christmas is that with the cold weather, usually comes snow and I LOVE SNOW! It snowed 3 days ago, but then it rained and the rain washed away the snow. I would love to have a white Christmas.

I like my school because it is a performing arts college and I love things that are to do with performing arts.

My worst subject is History!
After school there are clubs held four an hour which anyone can attend e.g dance, drama, football (soccer), trampolining, netball and hockey. We also have a school choir which is held at dinnertime on all week days except Mondays.
