I think that teens should be careful nowadays on the internet because there are risks involved. Teens should be careful when using a website like myspace because there are many predators on sites like that. You should never meet anyone you have met online and it is a serious issue.
i think we should be concerned about kids on the internet because they can search anything and find whatever it is. if they put it into google search then they will find it. i go online alot during the day so i cant say they shouldnt go on. parents should put blocks on anything offensive to their children. this is what i think
The internet is a very very dangerous place for youth. Young children today use their internet as a source for everything in their life, and school.Anything you need to know or desire to gain, you can find or even buy online. Because of the internet, teenagers can talk to anyone at any age from around thw world. Many things could happen online and children are always decieved by older people. Also, children today lack social skills because they talk too much on the computer, instead of interacting with others. When our generation we will be depened on only the internet and nothing else. this is a problem.
The internet is severe problem in teenagers today. Because of the internet teenagers today lack social skills. This is because oppose to contacting the opposite sex by phone they use the internet. Also using the internet websits such as myspace puts teenagers at risk for dangers. Also we do not the health risks of using a computer for the amount of time teenagers today use it for, because no one as. When out generation grows up we might have major eye problems
I think that we should be concerned about young people’s use of the internet because of a teenager is not responsible it could be very dangerous for them. I think that many young teens use chatrooms or other websites online to go meet new people, and the new people that they meet could seem nice but they could really be a threat to them. But, if a teenager is responsible when the use the internet I think that they will be fine as long as they stay away from chat rooms and know who they are talking to.

I think that youths in our world today use the internet for more things than ever. Today there are so many different websites that teens can go on. Although some of these websites can be abused, the usage of websites by teens should not be obsessed over. Parents are so concerned with the well-being of their children that they are over looking the fact that teens like to use the internet. It is okay that they enjoy talking to their friends online, but parents and other adults are making it a big deal. As long as the user of the internet is responsible, there should be no worry of them using the internet.
I think that the internet is very useful for students and teens. I think that we should be concerned if teens start abusing their privaliges of having the internet in their home, work, or school.
Parents should get concerned when their kids are on the computer, playing games or chatting with friends, for extensive amounts of time.
I do think that the internet helps kids to do research and communicated with friends a little easier, but when you make it a priority to go on the computer to talk to friends for hours everyday, it becomes a concern.
I think that we should be concerned about young people’s used of the internet, but most adults are overly concerned. If a kid’s on the internet a couple of hours a day, just chatting with friends and playing games, then its not a big deal. But, I can understand that there are dangerous predators on the internet that most adults are concerned about. If a young person isn’t smart about it, they will get hurt, but we are much smarter than they give us credit for.
I spend an average of maybe 2 or 3 hours on the internet a day, but not all of it is for fun. I use it for research and to keep in touch with relatives. I enure my safety by not talking to anyone I don’t know.
Yes, i think we should be concerned about young peoples’ use of the internet. With all of hte new technology and sites that are being created, they can be dangerous. I also think that people are making it to much of a big deal. Most people are mature about their use of the interent using only AIM and research websites. There are also people using the interent for bad things such as online dating and websites like that, that are dangerous. Kids today shuold know not to give out any personal information.

i belive that kids should be aware of the dangers on the internet. There are many good sources online that can help kids understand the kind of trouble that is on the internet and i think parents should encourage their children to read things like that.
But i do not believe in schools and such blocking things they do not think are right. it is one thing to block off a website because it is not school related, but i think it is another thing for a school to block something becuase they think it isnt a good website to be on, such as personal websites. I can see that it is not related to school, but i have heard of students getting in trouble for having such websites. I do not think it is anyones buisness besides the student’s and their parrents what kids do online. Kids ultimately need to know the difference between right and wrong, and kids should not be punished for other kids mistakes.
I think that we do have to be cautious about young people’s use of the internet because there are many dangerous people that go onto many of the common used sites. I also think though that if people know the risks and know bout some of the bad situations they can get into, then they will be fine. By knowing what can happen you can decide for yourself what you should do and what you shouldn’t do. By onlying staying to sites that you know about and by only talking with people you know in life other than the internet, you can stay safe from some of the harmful people that you hear stories about.
I think that by parents telling their kids about what they should be aware of and by public places such as schools stopping you from going to websites it can also keep you safer.
I think that we should be concerned with young adults use of the internet. Although i consider myself rather responsible and safe on the internet, even i have encountered scary and alarming internet problems. Because of Myspace, there is a rise in pedophiles on the internet and this causes a greater risk for young people who are not careful with their activities on the internet. Though i think Myspace is a great tool for communicating with friends and expressing yourself, I believe that young adults should be more careful about how they present themselves on the internet because anyone is able to find out who they are, what they look like, and even where the live or go to school, and such information in the wrong hands can lead to a dangerous situation.
I think the internet can be dangerous.. but it is also helpful in other ways. people find so many things on the computer now a days without having to go out and finding it in a book. the internet has the latest up dates on any sources you need. I do agree that some sites are not appropriate, and should not go on it.. and dont be talking to people who you dont trust in the chatroom.. but i think the internet is very helpful. just becareful on what sites you go to .. and keep you identity safe. never tell about your shelf on the computer…

I think it is dangerous but I also think it is fun. I think that it would be safer if no adults visited certain websites so kids can be in less danger. If someone invented something that would prevent awful things online like a scanner. It would scan all things that would be put on a website. I have noticed that the youth now about the dangers and they should learn about a website or program before they start using it. Its ok to use it but check it out first before you sign up.
Yes, you should be concerned about websites that young teens go on.Theres alot of websites that are not appropriate for us. Young teens know they are safe in the internet by not giving out their name and some other personal information.

Some children don’t have a chance to get on the internet because of parents, either because they can’t afford the broadband or they don’t want their children using the internet. many reasons.
Many people own MySpace. or Bebo. or have a hotmail account. On bebo you can make ur URL so only your friends cannot visit it and on MySpace, Well idc. On msn you can accept friends to your list or not accept them. :’] Technology is so clever

i think its really anoying that adults can read your conversations. it is safe on msn because you can block anoyone that you think is unsafe and that way you cant get tracked down. but we know the dangers and they read our conversations.
We should be concerned with the amount of young children who spend most of their time on the internet. They could be looking at anything! letting them go onto the internat can cause problems within the family. for instance: what the are looking at, what they are doing.
But all children should be aware that adults can find out what you are doing in the end. They have spies everywhere!!!!!!!
I dont see what the problem is i mean teachers tell us too look stuff up on the INTERNET and it does help us when we r bored out of our skull so i think adults should just shut there yaps and let us go on the internet whenever we want =]
I think that young children/teenagers nowadays should be quite carefull what they do on the internet as one day they will go on chatrooms and talk to complete strangers and be carried away as if the other person was an alien and the other person was abducted(by aliens of course)!!!! But then it doesn’t really matter coz i dont care about what happens to them as its their choice and their fault!!!

I think that people should be bothered about how long children spend on the computer because they could be spending too much time and it could effect their knowledge and learning. There should be a time limit in spending time on the computer. Young children could start talking about stuff they have been on on the computer or something they have found out on cartoons and start believing it. luv yah xxxxxxx

Yes we should be concerned of young people’s use of the internet. Young people might click on a website from a search engine and it might bring them to website that will insert a virus to there computer. They also might see a short film with idiotic and dangerous stunts that they might try to recreate the dangerous stunts and get hurt.
Yes, I do believe the Internet can be a problem for kids these days. Most people when they go online do not know what they are getting into. Predators anytime can target children online, without children realizing it. One moment someone could think they are talking to a best friend, and the next they could find themselves in a very bad situation. Aim, Facebook, Myspace, and other web-sites that require information are not safe. Kids believe that it is cool go belong to those web-sites and such, but really its the opposite most people are happy without them. Predators go online searching these websites for information, making it easier for them to harm children. I wish this problem would end, but today it is so vast that it almost seems unsolvable. Although the government and other are working for the better of our nation, they cannot do it alone. They need the help and support of their nation, I know that I provide support, What about you?
